ORLANDO CITY DREW AT HOME VS. INTER MIAMI, FLORIDA IS PURPLE.

In the first half, Orlando City came out swinging offensively. Two set pieces and a run from Duncan McGuire. The Wall was motivating the players and played a huge factor against the visiting team, it seemed that Inter Miami has never played in front of such loud and proud bunch of supporters. Orlando City had plenty of chances to be up 3-0 easily in the first half, but they could not capitalize. Inter Miami came close on a set piece and Gallese had a superb save. Inter kept pushing and Orlando’s press kept dwindling. Orlando City had four clear chances to score, all missed chances. Orlando City allowed Inter to grow their momentum. Inter started to see gaps in Orlando’s defense and they started to truly hurt the lions off the counter. The half ended with Orlando losing a bit of momentum offensively and Miami gaining strength in numbers.

In the second half, Inter Miami grew in momentum. Oscar Pareja got rid of the double pivot and subbed out Cesar Araujo for Martin Ojeda making Wilder the sole defensive mid for the Lions. Inter took notice on that, and started pressuring Orlando and the lions turned over the ball constantly. In one of those turnovers, David Ruiz scored for Inter Miami, the wall was stunned. Silenced plagued Exploria Stadium. Orlando City kept pushing and both Dagur Dan and Ivan Angulo started controlling the Lions’ flanks with their speed making it tough for Miami to regain control of the attacking chances. In the 66th minute, Duncan McGuire scored the equalizer for the Lions and the wall rejoiced. It was a well deserve draw, that pushed Orlando to control all instances moving forward.

Orlando City rescued a draw against a tough and very dirty Inter Miami team. Orlando still owes the fans finishing the attacking play, they had several chances but the ball did not go in or the boys looked for the extra dribble or the extra pass. Next is Montreal, another must win for the Lions. Vamos Orlando!
