Orlando stayed in control of the game after Freeman scored an important goal. The first 30 minutes of the game were quiet because both teams focused on defense and Toronto had more possession but didn’t create many chances to score, unlike Orlando.

Cesar Araujo scored a goal from a free kick in the 33rd minute, giving Orlando a 1-0 lead.It was a special moment for the midfielder as he dedicated the goal to his pregnant wife.

In the 35th minute, Alex Freeman scored Orlando’s second goal, giving them a bigger lead. This was a significant moment for Freeman, as he had been waiting for this opportunity since he joined the OCSC academy. It marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one in his career.

Eduard Atuesta and Angulo almost scored before halftime, but Orlando was still leading 2-0 at the break.

In the 63rd minute, Ojeda was able to get through the defenders and score Orlando’s third goal.   He dedicated the goal to his late grandmother as a way to honor her.

In the 72nd minute, Rosted from Toronto scored a goal, making the score 3-1 due to Orlando’s defensive blunder.

In the 80th minute, Dagur Dan scored Orlando’s fourth goal after replacing Ojeda. Freeman tried to help Enrique score a goal in the 83rd minute but narrowly missed.

Orlando City deserved a fifth goal but couldn’t make the connection. Flores scored Toronto’s second goal in the 86th minute, making the score 4-2.

The Lions made history in the MLS by being the first team to score six goals in the first two games of the season.    Orlando needed to win their next game after losing at home, before facing tough opponents in future matches.

Their main focus now is to continue their series of successes as they prepare to face New York City FC in their first away game of the season next weekend.
